You're stuck in a desert with your 2 best friends. You have no idea how far away from the nearest town you are, but you know you're going in the right direction. You have enough water to last you 6 days, you and one friend 3 days, or you and both friends 1.5 days.

How many (if any) friends would you bring with you? (Those left behind, btw, would definitely die within 2 days, and you could keep walking for about a day without any water.)
