Pet peeve? People that feel the need to explain everything. Like, this is done because if it wasn't, then blah blah blah. It's understandable with things that aren't really easy to figure out...but common sense things? Like, "I got out of the street because otherwise the car would have hit me" instead of just saying, "A car was coming so I got out of the street". An stupid explanation for things that are obvious...really, really annoying.
