First topic message reminder :

Suppose to be finishing my tok essay... but IB teaches you how to master procrastination so I'm here.

Time for some rant, maybe i'll get some inspirations for that damn essay...

I'm from China, consider myself Chinese, and I love China. If you got a problem with China, then fuck you.
I really get pissed and annoyed when people bitch about China on things like Tibet, human rights, military expansion, falun gong... pretty much anything that's hypocritical. Having lived in China for 9 years of my life, I have no idea what people are bitching about all the time. Sure, the air could be better, and there could be more trees, and maybe people can be nicer to each other, but overal it's a pretty good place. I would go back if i could just for the food.

I just hate it when idiots blame it on the government for anything that happens, espcially when they go a step further and say it would be better if China turned democratic. Two words: SCREW OFF. Democracy comes with its own set of problems, and China has pretty much just settled down after a shitload of turmoil. Going from getting gangbanged by 8 countries, fighting crack and opium dealers, and of course the sino-jap war and then the civil war. To think, getting from being picked on by everyone to getting feared/respected by everyone in about 50 years is a pretty danm impressive accomplishment. Show me a case where democracy yielded such exponential growth in a timespan of 50 years. I'm not saying democracy sucks, even though it does; i'm saying if it works for you, great - but don't force it on others when it's not going to fucken work.

Getting that out of the way, I love politics and debating, planning to be a lawyer someday and then get into politics, and then rule the world. and in case you haven't realized by now, I'm a communist, a godless communist. That being said, i also love to discuss about science, espcially if it's religion vs. science. I'm also pretty keen on the economy and history, I find them to be fairly good discussion topics that can go on for quite a while if you get people who knows what they're talking about.

Music: Pretty much anything that has a decent melody.
Movie: anything except horror and cheesy romance
Food: ... too lazy to list all of them
Tv show: House, The Big Bang Theory (best show ever), Avatar the Last Airbender
Likes/Hobbies: debate, argue, internet, tennis, ping pong, biking, nordic skiing, video games

and oh, since I'm in IB, I pretty much mastered the bullshitting technique - which means I can also see through lies pretty easily, espcially if I know the culprit well.

I never have nightmares... I've had 2 nightmares my entire life, and the rest were all weird, occasionally mildly frightening dreams (i.e.- running from giant spiders in a forest... but in a really exhilarating way. :DDD)

lol aburaishi, tough question. although after googling, most people say knights, since samurai swords are pratically useless against their armour.

well tei, you never told me that before. but still, if u were going to japan... would you ship your car there? o.o So i have 2 legit reasons for thinking it might be a loan for a car.

and hm, if i were to create my own country it would have to be on an isolated island that no one knows about so those danmed corrupt government can't touch it. and really i don't care what it would be called, i'll leave it up to the people there. i would lead it by pure communism ... although that would be more guiding than leading. and the language would probably be english, since i barely know french myself and i would probably get killed if i force people to learn chinese XD.

Actually, that's not true at all, especially since they generally carry around about 50 of them- meaning, as soon as it stabbed into the chainmail, they could leave it there, roll away, and grab some more... (their katana, by the way, are kept extremely sharp, making them capable of thrusting into knight's armor... just not so much coming back out.) And don't you forget, they had their own armor- the helmet of which actually deflects overhead swings from broadswords...

Samurai are, in fact, much more well-trained, having been conditioned to be samurai nearly from birth, and have a secondary weapon which is able to snap viking shields in half. I believe that could break some limbs even if you hide yourself in chainmail. >.>

(Oh yea, and they were also able to shoot a moving target in the eye from 50 paces with 5 seconds of preparation. Hell, even the neo-samurai can do that.)

and hm, army prob, i loved tanks! ever since i was a kid. Even though i know i'll end up getting owned by an air strike or anti tank missile.

No way in hell would I ship it. I'd have to get a driver's license there first, and that isn't happening.
